University Welfare
The University Welfare Office is the organizational unit through which the university
carries out activities aimed at the education of their students through the creation
of conditions related to human development. It depends on the Academic Pro Vice-Chancellor
Office.
The University Welfare Office has the following operating units:
1. ADVICE UNIT AND SOCIAL ORIENTATION.
2. SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UNIT.
3. UNIT OF CULTURAL & ART ACTIVITIES.

1. ADVICE UNIT AND SOCIAL ORIENTATION
Advice unit and social orientation provides timely and effective care to students
and parents, stimulating in them the ability to relate and communicate in the university
context, promoting institutional integration and proactive attitude that will result in
strengthening the sense of responsibility and respect for the rights and obligations
during their professional training.

2. SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UNIT
The Unit of Socio-Economic Promotion aims to ensure that lower-income students
complete successfully their studies to benefit from a pension scale according to their
social and economic status, by pension categorization process.
Also it gives prizes to the academic excellence by providing incentives for academic,
scientific, artistic and sports performance for the students consisting of partial and
quarter scholarship appointment.

3. UNIT OF CULTURAL & ART ACTIVITIES
The Unit of Cultural and Art Activities is responsible for integrating the community
college students primarily nonprofit organizations for the dissemination and promotion of
cultural and art expressions of our society as a substantial part of their integral and
professional training. It consists of group of artists and art workshops.
THE ARTISTS
are composed of students, graduates, teachers and administrative staff with artistic
experience selected by the directors in the annual auditions that are scheduled according
to the abilities and skills that each area has. They represent to university at all internal
and external activities sponsored by public and private entities or the same university in
the same areas or specialties such as folk dance, contemporary dance, theater, pantomime,
choir, university tuna, music, university tuna, mime, stilts, and other college band.
The ART WORKSHOPS are comprised of undergraduate and has eminently an educational training:

SCHOLARSHIP APPOINTMENT
The University Welfare Office of Lima makes the table of academic scholarships and social support nationwide.
Students, who are entitled to partial and quarter of scholarship, should inform themselves about the
requirements and other questions in the University Welfare Office of their respective subsidiaries.
Students shouldn’t have historical debt. It is necessary that they must be current on
their pensions to renew scholarships and social support.
