The Academic Professional School of Veterinary Medicine of Alas Peruanas University is located in the district of Pachacamac, located 23 km south of Lima and has three subsidiaries in Piura, Trujillo and Pucallpa. All its subsidiaries have classrooms, laboratories, auditorium, library, area of study, clinical areas and production of the different species of animals. School policy is to "LEARNING BY DOING", for this reason, we have a teaching staff with excellent level and comprehensive academic vocation. These factors put the professional schools of Veterinary Medicine at the forefront here in Peru and soon in Latin American.


• The professional graduate from the Professional School of Veterinary Medicine has a humanistic, scientific and technological education according to the needs of food, health and welfare of binomial man-animal within the conceptual framework of sustainable development. • They have general expertise to plan, design, manage, administer and implement programs, activities of production, social development in animal health and animal production and veterinary public health. They do diagnostic procedures, prevention and treatment of harmful events according to national and international norms and standards of ecosystem conservation and quality of life. • Specific skills with a holistic view of production, conservation, prevention and control of health process, welfare of binomial man-animal and ecosystem. • They manage and understand the dynamics of animal and human behaviour and their interaction. They manage and know the function of the systems, processes, facilities, equipment and resources that are available to accomplish this task. • They have ability to design, promote and manage research and teaching programs. • They know and apply appropriate methods and techniques that facilitate their work in conservation programs, development and production of different animal species and ecosystems as well as the development, design and evaluation of projects related to welfare.
