The Academic Professional School of Agribusiness Engineering at Alas Peruanas University spreads the knowledge of agricultural and livestock products, by-products, their processing, introduction and placement in the domestic and/or international market, starting from the market’s needs to the making of products. The knowledge of this production chain covers the quality (ISO’s), food safety (HACCP) management, the environmental assessment and protection and the use of administrative and financial tools to monitor the company’s performance, making the necessary corrections aimed at a continuous improvement.


The Agribusiness Engineer graduated from Alas Peruanas University is a competitive professional and capable of: • Managing the context, variables, performance and limitations of the main domestic agricultural, timber and livestock production lines. • Managing industrial conversion and transformation processes of the agricultural and livestock products developed in the country or abroad and of the required quality standards. •Mastering the concepts and methods applied to determine costs, performance parameters, locate financing sources and develop economic and financial impacts of the agribusiness activities. • Planning, organizing and integrating into the work team, communicating, motivating, managing and supervising with effectiveness and responsibility. • Managing research and innovation methodologies related to the agribusiness activities.
